The Challenge
Enel, as a global energy provider, faced:
- Fragmented Digital Presence: Disparate app experiences across each operational country, resulting in:
- Inconsistent user interfaces and brand perception
- Duplicate development efforts and higher maintenance costs
- Difficulty rolling out new features at scale
Our Goal: Design a single, reusable "Full Digital App" framework capable of delivering consistent, high-quality user experiences while enabling localized service integration for each country.
Project timeline
- Designed the Endesa App as a pilot to create the “Full Digital Design System.”
- Created a “Full Digital Design System” + Global User flows identified as common in all countries.
- Designed the Enel Italy App — adding its unique components as 3.0
- Designed the Enel Sao Paolo App — adding its unique components as 4.0
- Launch to all 9+ countries

1. Strategic Unification & Local Adaptation
- Foundation: Drew from experience redesigning Endesa.com web + app in Spain, which served as a pilot and influenced the “Enel Dots” (web) design system and “Enel Full Digital” (app) design system.
